We as African American must first love who we are as an individual before we can begin to launch out into the deep waters of loving others. Embracing ourselves is a challenging vice in itself. Loving ourselves becomes more a daily process. We cannot find true love without first looking deep within and truly loving ourselves. Step back and love yourself first no matter how you look, how you feel, where you are. Love yourself first then true love will find its way into your heart.
