POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
This position is full-time, following a first shift schedule, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule.
The position will be responsible for providing office management for the Eastern District business operations and assist in the operation of the public counter including Hunting and Fishing License sales, state park pass issuance, safe boating certificates, youth group and backpack camping application processing, directing guidance for general questions as well as other related items.
As an Office Assistant, you will provide administrative support for the EDHQ and East District staff, maintain inventory of supplies and order when necessary, and complete and process purchasing requisitions.
You will also, review Purchasing Card charges and expenditures and prepare adjustment forms with appropriate coding changes as well as review and track expenditures for Agency Projects.
You will answer multiple phone lines and dispense general information, coordinate and maintain reservation calendars for conference room spaces, and populate and maintain vehicle and facility related information in DEEP’s Asset Management System, DRIVE.

Qualifications & Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL EXPERIENCE
Two (2) years of general clerical work experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED
College training may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equalling one/half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of two (2) years.
